In the long run, we should make all wsdisplay drivers attach a /dev/fb*,
and get rid of the PCI bus scan code in XFree86.
What you descibe is a secondary effect of the "console attaches late"
model on sparc - other ports don't have it because they always force the
right console device to be wsdisplay0 - simply by attaching it very early.
