I will be importing the Atheros HAL for these systems, and I have a few
requests of the portmasters:
MACHINE_ARCH MACHINE_GNU_PLATFORM(?)
amd64 x86_64-elf
arm arm9-le-thumb-elf
arm armv4-be-elf
arm armv4-le-elf
arm xscale-be-elf
arm xscale-le-elf
i386 i386-elf
mips mips-be-elf
mips mips-le-elf
mips mips1-be-elf
mips mips1-le-elf
mips mipsisa32-be-elf
mips mipsisa32-le-elf
powerpc powerpc-be-eabi
powerpc powerpc-le-eabi
sh3 sh4-le-elf
These will be installed into
sys/contrib/arch/${MACHINE_ARCH}/dev/athhal-${MACHINE_GNU_PLATFORM}.o.uue.
By popular demand, everything will go under sys/contrib/ instead of
under contrib/sys/.
I am told that powerpc-{be,le}-eabi object files may not be suitable for
our powerpc ports. I ask that the portmasters let me know for certain.
I ask that portmasters both let me know if none of the binaries listed
above are appropriate for their port, and request the missing HAL binaries
from Sam Leffler.
