I don't know any 68020 models upgradable this way ( well, you can
always swap the mainboard ) but some 68030-based ones, like the 345,
actually have a 68040 socket on the mainboard and a daughtercard with a
68030, 68882 and some cache memory sitting in it. These can be upgraded
by swapping the card for a 68040, adding an oscillator ( a socket is on
the mainboard ) and upgrading the firmware ROM.
