Just a nit... GPT isn't totally flat... one GPT partition type is
"MBR", which means an MBR is nested in there, go parse it.
The EFI spec explicitly says that the partition discovery mechanism in
EFI is generic, and implies generically-recursive when it talks about
the MBR type... but then it later suggests that it's not recursive for
all other GPT partition types because it's not necessary (since GPT has
an arbitrary number of partitions).
Gotta love specs from Intel :-)
