Hm..  lack of guru-hood, but those blocks of zeros sure look 
compressible.  How hard would it be to get the kernel to
dump the core through a userland incarnation of gzip -2 or something
say, if the DEFCORENAME ended in .gz (too bad a hack for netbsd, p'haps?)
