Just found very hursh behaviour [for me] of umass on 2.0:

---cut---
umass0 at uhub4 port 1 configuration 1 interface 0
umass0: USB Flash Disk, rev 2.00/2.00, addr 5
umass0: using SCSI over Bulk-Only
umass0: no buffer memory
---cut---

On the same machine all was fine with 1.6.1 and 1.6.2.

AFAIR someone has reported simular failures with USB on 2.0. Any
ideas/workarounds ?

dmesg
