mbmon does work on my ss51g from shuttle, but
not on the thinkpad x30. i believe it needs
smbus because polling from pci gives nothing.
i started writing (early stages) something to
talk to my smbus but it doesn't work yet
(translating intel docs into code is pretty painful)
