1.6.1/i386, generic kernel (fresh install)

The card shows up as:

CMD Technology product 0x0680 (RAID mass storage, revision 0x01) at pci2 dev 10 
function 0 not configured

I have two of them, and I bought them about half a year apart.
They look slightly different even though they are sold under the same
model name.  I'll then plug in the second one and look if it makes
any difference.
