FYI, when sending diffs, it's often more useful to send unidiffs ("cvs
diff -up" / "diff -up") or context diffs ("cvs diff -c" / "diff -c").

That helps people understand more about the nature of your change, and
can help apply the change even if other changes have been made to the
file in the mean time.
