It can be done with an embedded (application-specific)
system. The problem mentioned has no SWAP so I suspect
it should be an embedded system.
What would happen in this case is that one would endup
with a BSD mutant. Not an elegant solution but it will
work. The developers will have a heck of time synching
their mutant with current or major releases. Not a
task for the faint hearted. As the mutant will differ
significantly in UVM and scheduler to say the least.
