I've got a 1.6 kernel I've built with the clockctl device configured.
I've checked that what command on /netbsd gives the same date, etc.
as the uname -v command, and a grep on the /netbsd file gives:
_CFG_pseudo-device\011clockctl\011\011# user control of clock subsystem
Yet, when ntpd is running as user ntp:ntp, and tries to open the
/dev/clockctl device (which properly exists in its chroot environment,
/var/chroot/ntpd/dev) it gets this, according to ktrace:
27312 ntpd CALL open(0x481404cf,0x1,0)
27312 ntpd NAMI "/dev/clockctl"
27312 ntpd RET open -1 errno 6 Device not configured
Can anybody explain what's going wrong here?
