Is there any active work on this ?

FreeBSD's kernel implementation was imported in January, but the thing has
seemingly stalled.

I played a bit compiling mount_smbfs from FreeBSD, and I reached the point
where 'ls' works. Though 'ls -l' and 'touch foo' raise a panic.

I'm no expert both in kernel debugging and vfs implementation, so my work
on that part will be anything but fast ; I wanted to know if someone's
already trying to mount Samba shares.
