try copying the uvm directory from netbsd-current to
your sandbox and rebuilding the kernel.
I got rid of a couple of uvm crashes by using the
netbsd-current uvm (as opposed to netbsd-1.5.2).
technically speaking, I haven't seen this problem and
cannot guarantee that the upgrade will solve the
problem.
