Indeed, the register inversion is correct, but from what I've read of the
FreeBSD driver (which looks like a lot NetBSD's auich) and the ALSA
implementation (which is stunningly a completely different one), a factor
2 must be introduced in some index.

Since the other patch I've been sent doesn't address that issue either,
I'll work on it.
