has anyone ever used kgdb on mac68k?
I read the "Debugging the NetBSD kernel with GDB HOWTO" on
www.netbsd.org (which, alas, is i386-only in the MD details without
saying so), disabled ddb in the kernel config, added
options KGDB # remote debugger
options KGDBDEV=0x0c01 # kgdb device number (dev_t) /dev/tty01
options KGDBRATE=9600 # baud rate
makeoptions DEBUG="-g" # compile full symbol table
to the config, and enabled "break into debugger" in the booter (1.11.3
as well as 2.0; no '-d' on mac68k).
But the kernel does not break into the debugger, a break on the serial
console does nothing, and the nmi switch is ignored, too.
What am I missing?
Now without signature.
