Subject: siop driver running out of resources?

I've just brought up the recent NetBSD snapshot on an AlphaStation
DS-20, and it seems as if it may have some dislike for the siop
(Symbios 53c875) controller. While unpacking a large tar archive
and simultaneously making a package in pkgsrc, the controller
wedged. The kernel was continuously printing a message indicating
a resource shortage, and that was basically it for the machine.
(The disk was the root disk.)

Has anyone else seen this? Any thoughts on what the problem might be?

dmesg appended.
