"cvs update" often hogs the disk enough that my mp3 player stops playing
(on a PIII-800 w/ some IDE disks). This happens mostly when the update
itself is done and the intermediate directories are removed. 

It would be cool if that starvation of the mp3-player could be avoided
with that too. Dunno if that would work automagically then.
