De rien.

You've seen the NetBSD Project's Goals at
<http://www.netbsd.org/Goals/system.html>, right?

Many people run NetBSD because it's the only modern OS that runs on
their system, and for whatever reason, they like their system, even if
it does happen to be ancient. It's worth spending some time to find a
way to improve performance on all architectures, rather than making a
change because it seems cool and saying, "Oh, if it slowed things down
for you, just go buy a new computer and it'll be lots faster."

"NetBSD runs on some of the slowest vax and hp300 machines, to the
largest AlphaServer 8x00 systems. Maintaining acceptable performance on
machines with limited CPU and memory resources pays dividends on more
powerful machines as well"
