I like this idea. I have a bunch of old ST41200N (Wren 7) disks that
say SCSI2 in the manual, but only ever claim to be SCSI1 when probed. I
was wondering how I could get them to speak SCSI2. I spent 5 minutes
hacking the kernel once to send a CHANGE DEFINITION to them, but that
didn't work.
