I use ulpt every day, with a Samsung ML-4500 parallel printer connected to
a D-Link USB->Parallel cable which probes as:

ulpt0 at uhub0 port 2 configuration 1 interface 0
ulpt0: MCT Corp. product 0x0302, rev 1.00/1.04, addr 3, iclass 7/1
ulpt0: using bi-directional mode

This is with very current -current.

I also use ulpt regularly with the 1.5 branch, with a Lexmark T620.
