Well, lets put it this way.
libpcap & tcpdump are evolving independantly of NetBSD and NetBSD should
keep itself up to date with those changes. Maybe you should have a look
some time, there are a growing number of differences.
Who's responsible for importing tcpdump/libpcap into NetBSD ?
