Hi,

I was informed by somebody at netbsd-help to post a
question here on netbsd kernel programming questions.

My question is the following.

What would be the reason/situation for the curproc is
equal to NULL ? ... My kernel panicked in pool_get
function (sys/kern/subr_pool.c) because the curproc ==
NULL. The backtrace of
the function is:

at _pool_get+78:
at rnd_sample_allocate+60:
at rnd_attach_source+c0:
at wdattach+2d4:
at config_attach+3c4:
at config_found_sm+5c:
at wdcattach+47c:
at wdc_isa_attach+1a8:
at config_attach+3c4:
at isasearch+f8:
at mapply+74:
at config_search+d0:

Let me know if more information is needed.

Thanks!

Ferry
