   tree if you're in that much of a hurry, right?  A couple days doesn't
   seem unreasonable to wait for a response.


indeed, this is an *extremely* important part of the kernel.
the VM system working properly is the basis of the entire
kernel.  i've made major changes to the VM system over the
years, but even today, i'd not commit anything vaguely
interesting there without having at least chuq or jason
review it...
