For an INSTALL kernel, very.

It means you have to find someone build a kernel for you,

I assert that there utility in letting users get this info on their
own. Yes, it probably means they need to have kernel built for them
ultimately to support the device, but at least they can make
progress on debugging the problem by themselves.
