For one, I wouldn't be able to use NetBSD on my home pc without
pc cons. I have a motherboard that doesn't want to update
the pc leds properly under pccons, but under wscons, I get
repeating characters on login. It is a VIA chipset and I
don't have the money to replace the motherboard and my vendor
is not going to replace my motherboard. (It works just fine
under Windows ... it is your problem.)
Please don't take it out!
