| Hum, strange. I have some NetBSD clients as well, ocasionally the servers
| gets down (not for long periods, note) and I've *never* seen this.

  I have my home dirs mounted via NFS, and have seen the client
needing a reboot after the server went down -- even if the mount
was not used at the time (ie. nobody was actually logged in).

  I switched to use amd to decrease the window of vulnerability
and am a happy camper since, but of course that's just a workaround.
