One more data point ... all the pc532 kernels I built after 1.4X have
hung tight.  Today, a 1.5A kernel hung in the "make depend" part of a
1.5_ALPHA kernel build (after finally getting the sources on the machines).

1.4X was very stable, but all after that (1.4ZB I think and 1.5A) have
easily hung tight.  No panic, just no response.
