having logical volumes use RAIDFrame devices for storage should work
already, the other way around should work too but seems less useful to me.
Using striped LVs on RAID5 seems like a good combination.

I was told that it wouldn't be too difficult to add resizing to lfs for a
start.

ok, I should have asked: Is there interest in getting this included in the
distribution, licensing issues put aside? I was/am aware of this issue, but
before I try to get this resolved, I want to know if this is wanted at all.
I mean, I can live with a GPL'ed LVM on my systems as a local kernel hack,
but I think it would be a good thing for NetBSD to have this.

Can somebody please answer my technical questions? Thanks!
