I thought the deal with thermal recalibration and AV drives was that AV
drives are designed to be able to do the recalibration without pausing,
while other drives may introduce a pause, thus screwing up the streaming of
the AV data. (The implication here is that non-AV drives also do thermal
recalibration, they just aren't as intelligent about it, and it is thus
more noticable).
Am I in left field?
