USB will probably be a can of worms for awhile. Motherboards have been
built with USB interfaces for about two years. From what I understand,
there are about three slightly incompatible USB specs (caused by later
revs of the hardware/BIOS specs). On some very old USB motherboards
the BIOS doesn't even grok USB.

I've noticed that USB peripherals are showing up at CompUSA, so at least
there will be a variety of stuff to play with. :-)

The question now is whether the standard will get set in concrete before
the equipment manufacturers lose confidence in selling USB "stuff".

One initial caveat, which I don't have to worry about, only the latest
versions of OEM Windows 95 support USB...
