No, what it means is that a bunch of hackers are getting out their
rulers and comparing notes.   And nobody's going to admit to having
the smallest measurement, so they're going to keep arguing until they
all get bored with it, by which time everybody else will have
unsubscribed.    If you must continue arguing this point, please note
down a list of the interested parties (they've all certainly responded
by now) and take it offline with just those people.
