Didn't say the former, or didn't say the latter?

The earlier text in your message seems to say something of the former
(though not quite _exactly_ what i said). You show numbers reported
by someone else, and indicate that in your tests, even doing _less_
(i.e. no driver processing) on a faster system, you can't get those
numbers under NetBSD. (The different is "with _any_" -- that was an
exaggeration; sorry.)

The latter is what Jason was implying, though he's later indicated
that he didn't mean to. 8-)
