The boot blocks are a minor problem.
It's harder to come to an agreement in which format
the data have to be passed. It should be extensible,
and there are compatibility issues.
There are many more things I'd like to pass, eg
more boot disk data, console device, network
card data for netboot, file system type...
Ideas?
