Yes, I was having pretty bad problems with a machine that had 5 3com's
in it and Chris was also having problems... We (mostly chris) spent a
fair bit of time trying to narrow down the problem and, last I saw of
the discussion, it seemed to be a compiler issue.
I don't know the exact outcome because I had to take off and discussion
continued but the problem started with the mbuf.h changes and how the
compiler treated a macro in (at least) elink3.c...
You'll probably see more from chris or charles on this shortly... I know
of one way to make the problem go away but I'll refrain from posting any
diffs because I'm sure there's a real fix somewhere by now..
