Yes, the original ESP100 has the problem you describe. I believe that
if you take an interrupt and read the fifo counter once and then
read it a second time you'll find that the FIFO count will now be two.

Hmm. Either that or 25,000 SparcStation 1s and 50,000 IPCs running SunOS
can't be working with disconnect/reconnect enabled. Both have the ESP100,
not the 100A part.

Sigh. I have an IPC. If I get time I'll try and work on this. Sigh. Double
