Problem solved.  The CellServDB file was not being created, since it can 
only be updated after the initial link.

FYI I was using NetBSD 1.2 i386,

there is still an inconsistency with the lib.so version or whatever..

it works.

Also a strange thing was happening.  The afs module showed up in modstat, 
however it could not be unloaded.  It also did NOT show up as a volume 
through df until this file was placed.  Now I get to figure out kerberos so 
I can work with my project vincent account....
