Hi guys:

I was wondering if there's any interest in maybe spawning a
seperate group to deal with the ideas, feelings, ramblings, vague
thoughts etc of adding multiprocessing capabilities to NetBSD.

I for one am very interested in contributing my share to this and
have a couple of ideas. And it's getting to be the time of year
again where these things may actually get done ;-).

This is obviously something *all*ports have to be involved with.
And if we integrate this type of stuff across all layers, we may
even make clusters of uniprocessor machines one giant box (wishful
thinking, I guess, but who knows.. we got PVM and MPI in the
cluebag), aside from the "usual" multiprocessing a la SMP.

Anybody else who thinks this is a good idea?

Regards,
Chris
