Actually, the federal government specs price, support, and maintenance.
The FAA STARS contract which replaces all the air traffic control
systems in the US, will be based on Sun SPARC systems running Solaris 2.5.

Fidelity Investments, one of the biggest caretakers of retirement funds
in the US, uses Sun SPARC systems running Solaris 2.x and SunOS 4.1.x.
