i kinda agree on chris in this one. one header would be just fine.
i may have forgotten the start of this thread, but, why are people
wanting to change this anyway ?
another option is to have every file depend on the Makefile (at
least files with optional #ifdef's, but that leads you back to the
point of having to maintain files with options in them, which is
a Bad Thing.)
