Basically, it is done like you said. But more hack is necessary when
Carrier is lost or set. This is slightly difficult point to make it
machine independent.

Sorry to say ugly because I didn't know such new zs drivers. That's
sounds good for me too. Although sparc port is for 1.1R, Do you want
my patch?

I am going to check FreeBSD's driver to improve my patch.
