sysinst only accepts certain devices as target hard drives for 
installation. E.g. installation on ld(4) drives is not possible with 
sysinst.

What would it take to fix this behaviour?

I can see, that /usr/src/distrib/utils/sysinst/disks.c has a method 
called get_disks, but I can't figure out, where it actually get's the 
disk_names from.

ld(4) drives work just the same way as other drives and the necessity 
for a manual install certainly is a hurdle.
