Hello there,

I am installing PHP 4.2.0 to Apache 2.0.35 on NetBSD 1.5.3. The case is when I configured the source of making the binary of PHP, it said to require working POSIX threads.

Here's the output I got from the configure,

% configure --with-mysql --with-apxs2=/local/www/bin/apxs
...
...
...
Configuring SAPI modules
checking for AOLserver support... no
checking for Apache 1.x module support via DSO through APXS... no

checking for mod_charset compatibility option... no
checking for Apache 2.0 module support via DSO through APXS... configure: error: ZTS currently requires working POSIX threads. We were unable to verify that your system supports Pthreads.

How could I enable NetBSD to support Pthreads? How could I run/enable POSIX threads?

As a newbie, I may be kind of asking stupid questions, please help.

Thanks much in advanced.
