The key portion is in src/distrib -- you don't say what architecture
you are on, but all boot media is built in there. Generally, the
scripts require already-built INSTALL* kernels be present for them to
load up with the ramdisk images.

Poke around at the makefiles in there -- a lot of it is pretty self
explanatory.
