I'm still unable to track PR 9039 (some PIIX-based computer
locks up if we try to use pciide code). while I'm at it, i think
it would be better for us to turn off pciide, for INSTALL kernel.
	the idea is:
	- pciide controllers works with "wdc at isa" code (is it true?)
	- installation does not require that much of speed
	- it would be VERY bad if install floppy chokes on someone's computer
	opinions, thoughts?
