Embedded multimedia device

Hi guys.

I built an multimedia device to play music over network
using VIA EPIA E board. It runs MPD- http://www.musicpd.org/ 
which is controlled with http://www.jinzora.com/ or any of
the graphical clients listed on http://www.musicpd.org/clients.shtml
The problem is those VIA boards are pretty big and clumsy.
So I was wondering if you know of a rather inexpensive and most
preferably x86-based board which is both small and have an integrated
sound card. I am planning to install samba on that box as well so I
suppose x86 is the only platform I can use for my setup.
