If anyone wants to pick up the flash stuff, I'd prefer to have them
coordinate with me.  I'm in the middle of designing a framework for
non-volatile memories, and while I don't intend to provide all of the
semantics that we'd like, it would be nicer to have these semantics
added to my framework or cooperate with my framework than to create an
entirely new thing, I think.
