Intel 28F008SA is NOR technology device which incompatible with NAND.

It seems the OBSD code can be traced back to the age of Pefo's NOR code
for his wgrisc computer. Unfortunately, flash memory device wiring (either
of NAND or NOR) does differ from computer HW designs (there is little
consensus how to do it right), and the fact ends up with existing NOR/NAND
controlling code have been made under near zero portability consideration.
