It's meant to run on larger variety of hardware and not only on
soekris or wrap boards.
One of my WRAPs is:
cpu0: National Semiconductor Geode GX1 (586-class), 265.76 MHz, id 0x540
so you should be fine if you keep just 586 line on yours.
