Just to stay off subject even longer, why do we need to break ourselves
of that habit? I was taught to double-space on a typewriter, and
(probably because I'm used to it) for me it makes it easier to see
sentence breaks.
Once we can get this sorted, we can go back to arguing about British vs
American spelling!
