I responded to this in more detail already, but why is NFS the only
choice for a cesfic root filesystem?  Couldn't an mfs be used?

I guess I can see a case for making the system aware that root is over
an NFS server with a known good clock, and suppressing the warning in
that case, but it does seem to be a bit of an edge case.
